Aug. 23 - So if you’re up reading this right now and you’re on the West Coast… its about 2 am, 5am ATL time… Lets just say my body hates me right now for being up this late… but I had to let you, the coolest fans ever, know all about my night since I know ya’ll really care right now JK. We worked ALL day… no breaks… but when we finally got back to the hotel, we were ready to cut loose a little! We’re in Hollywood… gotta make time for some fun! We called up some of Matts’ friends and started with drinks at the club in the hotel… of course I was having Arnold Palmers (and for those of you who don’t know, that’s a sweet tea with a shot of lemonade… it makes for the best drink known to man that doesn’t involve alcohol) We had dinner at the Rainbow Bar and Grill off Sunset… sounds fem but it’s anything but that. This is straight up 80’s rocker heaven served up with the best lasagna you’ll find off Sunset! While you’re sitting there eating your awesome tasting food throughout your meal you’ll be able to enjoy bands from Alice Cooper to Motorhead to Pantera and to go along with dessert….death metal!

After we were done eating, Matt had a surprise for me. He called his friend Eric who has an exotic car business…. Those of you who don’t know… I have a fond appreciation for cars… not exactly your 6th grade kid with a Porsche 911 poster next to his Pamela Anderson “Bay Watch” Calendar, but I like cars. So… let me set the scene…. As Matt leaves me on the side of Sunset Blvd and says “Just wait here for your ride”, which I thought was really strange… Rocky Balboa is hoping into his yellow Lamborghini… I’m so busy ogling over the car that I completely miss the fact that Rambo was right next to me! Anyways another five minutes and again… due to the nature of Hollywood another bad ass car pulls up… it’s a Maserati, my all time favorite car…only this time the window rolls down and this thick New York accent say’s ‘Aye, you Chase?” And again due to Hollywood’s semi weird nature, I replied… “It depends on who’s asking” but inside I’m screaming YES YES That is I! Turns out, this is Eric… a really cool cat that has been friends with Matt for years. I get in and we roll up to the Standard and yes… I got my five minutes of people watching me hop out of a Maserati (just one of the many things I put on my “do before I die list” after I saw “The Bucket List”. We had a couple more Arnold Palmers and I finally called it a night… I’m rock-music’d out… sang out…. stuffed and tired I’ll get back on here to let you know how things are going soon…. One Love!
